somebody loved

I don't normally blog about music, because I don't consider myself musically talented in any way, therefore I shouldn't make any recommendations. BUT Sunday I was at Brenna and Ryan's beautiful wedding and Janu and the Whalesharks sang a beautiful version of "Somebody loved" by The Weepies, and if you have a heart, and it beats, and you breathe air, you should buy this song.

It is beautiful.

It is unbelievable.

It made me cry, in full daylight.

yes

and the answer is yes, that was my last Kung Fu Panda post.

told you so.

What if EYE looked different?

Would you still be my friend?

Eye didn't think so.

The Anatomy of How to Enjoy Chips and Salsa

Chips and Salsa is one of the most delicious mid afternoon treats I can think of.

I decided I should share the knowledge of the proper way to enjoy this snack.

Step one, grab a scoops version of the tortilla chip.
Step two, dip the aforementioned scoop into mild chunky tostitos salsa
Step three, place the concoction onto your palette
Step four, enjoy.

You are welcome.

you may not know this....

But I seriously heart Kung Fu Panda...

Bethany knowing this full well, brought me this little trinket home.

You can look for it on my desk.

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!

Brandon and I had a pretty great day today. Started with Ben and Stacey's wedding which was complete with an office theme song at the end, a haircut for Brandon at Toni and Guy, some new clothes and make-up for me from all over the spectrum, dinner at CPK and The Incredible Hulk at the movies.

All throughout the day, all I kept saying was, can we watch wedding crashers tonight?

Well, we got back to my apartment, and what would you guess was on TV.... WEDDING CRASHERS.

Oh, how perfect.

What have I been doing?

Modeling.

Not really, but these are some fun pictures from the refinery opening. Including Ryanne's impression of the water monkeys from planet earth, a modeling shoot in the new baptismal pool, and playing soccer with Leighton.

Party Girl # 4

So I have some great friends.

Two of them are Allison and Bethany we like to call ourselves the party girls, like we are in 3rd grade.

When Brandon came home from his man trip, he hung out with the three of us a lot, and was officially unducted as party girl # 4.

Here is one of our "party-licious" nights.

oh life

LIfe is pure craziness right now...

In the last week I have

Picked up my boyfriend from the airport after not seeing him for a month
Planned and executed an entire event for 126 freshman and 40 leaders
Been to work every day between 7 and 9 am and worked until at least 10 pm, and loved every minute
Cried tears of joy, anger, frustration, exhaustion, and heat
Seen hundreds of people walk through our student building that I love, and watch them fall in love with it too
Built a rock wall, and tilled an entire hill when it was 100 degrees outside
Worn overalls to work( and the answer is yes, it was when I was tilling the aforementioned hill)
Played Wii bowling
Sweat, a lot.
Played killball

I could go on and on.

It is now 12:44 am on Saturday. I am literally smiling because I am heading to bed.

It's craziness, I told you.

"Hello lover"

Brandon comes home tomorrow at 5:30 pm after being gone for an entire month!

REUNITED!

I love this.

Things that are nice...My friends.

So this last week of my life has been complete chaos, but in the midst of it all, I had such encouragement and love in my life.

My great friend/roommate/doctor Bethany surprised me with what I like to call the permanent starbucks cup. I literally screamed out loud in the office. You can read about the cup on Ryannes blog, she has one too.

Oh and, my friend Allison invited me to her house where she made me dinner, and just let me talk about my life to her.

Plus, Zack saw one day that I was feeling down and told me that Debbie Barker ( his mom) always made him Chai tea when he was sad, so he made me some. It was delish.

Then a couple of days ago Ryanne left a little note of encouragement on my desk along with a cupcake notebook, just because.

THEN I log onto the space aka myspace, and see a great an unexpected encouraging and loving comment from my main man, Bran. He posted it while in China! ( He's not a huge myspace guy, so this was extra special.)

I tell ya, I am lucky to be surrounded by such great people.

Does this make me manly?

I am sitting in class right now, listening to my professor talk about something super interesting ( seriously, I am not being sarcastic...) but at the same time in the right hand corner of my computer screen I have live feed of the Laker game.

I am my fathers daughter, that is all I have to say.

Well...

I was going to blog about the Angles game that I attended last night, but Allisons post trumps mine in every way so I will just direct you over there.

Staff retreat is my girlfriend

We leave for staff retreat today and I am so excited. 3 days of uninterrupted fun, sun and relaxation. (wow cheesiness.)
