Bitten

Ok, as a huge fan of Oprah, I saw an episode a while back featuring Sarah Jessica Parker talking about her new clothing line. Everything in it is under $20.00, crazy right? I am talking shoes, handbags, jackets and jeans, nothing is over twenty bucks.

So I did some investigating. Her stuff is being sold at Steve & Barrys, which is a store I thought only existed in Michigan, but apparently there is one at the block?! Interesting.

Anyway, all that is to say, I logged onto her website to check out the line, and its fantastic! Looks amazing, and is guranteed to be quality clothing.

So, tomorrow being saturday, and my day off, I will be checking out this sweet new line.

You should too!

This summer

I decided this morning that I need a vacation. Bummer that my family is going on one and I have to stay here and work...but I really want to try and take one.

These are my top three ideas for something fun to do...

San Diego Zoo... granted that is about an hour away.. but, it could seem like a vacation if I went to the zoo and then stayed with a friend who lives in San Diego for the weekend... see where I am going with this one?

Six Flags... This just seems like a vacation because you have to drive so stinking far.

Yosemite... I would like to camp at yosemite this summer with a bunch of friends. This would be the only real choice on my list that seems like a vacation.

Anyone up for a trip?

A guy sees an accident

So this guy is late for work and calls his buddy to let him know, during the call he witnesses an accident in which a guy runs a red light and hits 4 elderly ladies... doesn't sound like it would be funny, but it is.

take a listen...

So Crazy

So last night I was thinking about how many weddings I have been to at such a young age, and most of them being my friends!
All of them have been so fun and most of the weddings I have been to are people who are in the blogging world... so I thought I would share a few of my favorite moments with these fun people and my hopes for all of the upcoming summer weddings...

It all began with Taffy and Sues.... what a great night! My favorite part of this night was playing a table game at the reception. What a great idea to get everyone involved and having fun. And look at them now.. little Lea is here!

Brittany's....such a fun wedding. Great food, great entertainment, but my favorite moment by far was watching Allison H and Matt H ( not married) sing I got you babe.... great moment you two.

Then it was Ryanne's....beautiful and charming wedding. So many fun ideas integrated into one night. Two moments this night were my favorites, one being that right when they were announced, the clock tower bell went off..... you can not plan that! So fun. the next being the amazing dancing that followed. Serioulsy, I was right back in junior high with all of that rap music....

Ok so now that I type it out, it has only been three, and the other ones were family... darn. But I do have two coming up, one being a girl I have known since second grade! Her wedding is on July 7, 2007.... so I am thinking with such a once in a lifetime date like 7-7-2007, their wedding should be special!

Coming up this friday is such an exciting one for me.... John and Mariah's wedding is going to be so fun! I remember asking Mariah if she loved him in her car one night after service... and then at Glenn Ivy, Sarah and I asked her if she had ever kissed John, and she laughed.

Seriously, weddings are so fun.

what are your favorite wedding memories?

The Land Of Legos

Yes it's true, I have now taken my first trip to Lego Land. For our team outing day, we decided to go to LegoLand. It was awesome. Kind of a bummer that most rides you must be 13 or younger, but no sweat, we spent the day walking around, checking out all the cool stuff and even riding " the claw."

Here are some fun pictures from the day....

notice, the make out legos, the matt jensen look alike knight, and the official ride picture.

The level five of Amy and myself, represents the highest level you can choose to ride on for the most awesome ride of all time. Literally, you feel like someone has thrown you into a washing machine and let you go.

It's hard to explain, you need to go, just for that ride.

suprise

Happy Birthday to me .... love you B

Smallville Man

Last night I went to the grocery store with a good friend to buy a birthday card and vegetable oil. Now that is only two items, so we went to the ten items or less line, which in any store is the last one on the left, every one knows this. Well apparently everyone but the lady in front of us. She unloads her cart full of stuff, and the checker makes two or three remarks, including " ooh, you are getting me in trouble" and " oh no, this is the wrong line for you" ( she had a heavy spanish accent) But does nothing to stop the madness.

By now, the line behind us, is growing, and there are many people with one two items making noises like this " ughhhhh" and " eckkkhhgggkkkkk"

Then the magic moment happened, the man behind us( who mind you, had two microwavable hungry man meals and was at least 35 years old) Walks up to the lady with 397293 items and says, " next time, pick the right line, I am missing smallville, my favorite show becuase of you."

I tried, I really did try not to laugh.

I failed.

Lovely...

This is me trying to be artistic.

Camping!

Sorry about not posting for a while.... busy little life of mine.

Funny stories about a campig trip that some of my friends and I took.

First a man came up to us as we were playing a routy game of catch phrase and asked us first if we were mormon, then since we weren't, he asked us for a beer. We didn't have anything but coke and sprite, but we did understand that since we sounded drunk it was a pretty ligitamate obervance.

Second creepy man came up to us and asked us if we had extra firewood for a homeless couple that would be sleeping next to us. We gave them some and then, all sat there silently contemplating where we should hide our valuables, so judgemental and wrong, we know, but... seriously, would you have left your stuff out over night?

Next was a creepy art project that Sarah and I found on our morning walk to the bathroom. We found on a picnic table what appeared to be some sort of satanic witch circle with rocks placed in crazy places and sticks holding the "creations" together. ( lame desciption, should have taken a picture...so sorry. I wasn't in my blogging place of mind.)

We decided to pack up and move out thinking it would be more fun to squeeze in a booth at denny's then try and " brave the wilderness" some more.
